NIRAJ PUBLIC SCHOOL - Our Mother ship

Founded in the year 1986, by the eminent and passionate educationist, Dr (Mrs.)B. Jyothi Reddy, Niraj Public School has come to be recognized as a pace setting educational institution in Hyderabad, and the entire South India. During its 22 years of existence, NPS has become synonymous with quality education, and has innumerable achievements to its credit. Here below are a few of these:

1. In 1988, NPS became the first school in South India to set up an integrated section for students in need of special education.
   
   
2. The year 1997 saw the setting up of 'Niraj Jyothi' for the children from lesser privileged members of the society. Since then, the school has also adopted two Govt. schools - one at Parthi Basti and the other at Sanathnagar, and provides these with the much needed academic support. Many talk of community service and WE DO IT.
   
   
3. Niraj Public School in 2004, earned ISO 9001-2000 & Q9001- 2000 certification for establishing an International quality management system and thus became one of the first few schools in Hyderabad to be so recognized.
   
   
4. NPS has been consistently producing higher achievers in academics and is rated amongst the top schools in South India. Chaitra Yarlagadda topped the ICSE Board Examination in 2007 in South India.
   
   
5. Co-curricular activities are an integral part of the education programme at NPS. It is a matter of great pride for us that Saif Lakhani has been honoured with a Gold Medal for securing 1 st position from among 50,000 participants in an All India Environment Awareness competition convened by the Jim Corbett Organization.
   
   
6. Saif Lakhani and Sohail Shariff were declared runners up at the National Renewable Energy Quiz conducted by Zee TV.
